Alyson Evans’ Leaving Blog
It was in 2002, during my BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts, when I had first contact with Valley and Vale. I was in my second year when Deri and Del, the then drama workers came and introduced Community Arts and Forum Theatre to my class.

We have recently applied to Bridgend Community Safety Partnership Substance Misuse Action Team Slippage Fund for a new creative project called ‘Tomorrow is Another Day’, working with young people in the Bridgend Borough.

My Reflections on the Locking Course
I like dance because it makes me happy and sometimes it’s embarrassing but it is a funny kind of embarrassment. I had never heard of Locking until now, it’s a weird kind dancing but fun.

Ty Pen y Bont Dance Workshop
This new Dance Disabilty group with Y Bont has been taking place at Nolton Church Hall in Bridgend. Some of the participants have been involved in dance work with us before, as part of the Split Level Dance Group, and others were new to it and hadn’t tried dance before.

‘Locking OCN Level Two’ Issie Lloyd’s Dance Blog
I have taken a strong interest in the old school funk style 'Locking' since I completed the Locking Pioneers course with one of the original members of 'The Lockers' earlier this year. I adore the dance style as it is fun and funky!

Magic Moments
Our girls from the Berwyn Centre are dancing their socks off this month. We have been creating a fun Christmas Dance together and they are full of energy and really excited about the season. The theme of this project has been all about magic, and what magic means to us.
