Valley and Vale AGM and Annual Report
We held our Annual General Meeting at our offices in Betws on Thursday 24th February and launched our Annual Report 2010, which is now available to view as a pdf here. This year we are celebrating the fact that our Annual Report is fully bilingual thanks to funding from The Arts Council of Wales.

Singing the Valleys Photo Gallery
Singing the Valleys is an informal project; we aim to enjoy some music and singing with the residents of Dan y Mynydd Sheltered Housing in the Garw Valley and Cwrt Gwalia Sheltered Housing in the Ogmore Valley, to spark off and record some memories in the process and to compose some songs and music of our own.

‘Hut 9′ – A Film About the WWII P.O.W Camp in Bridgend
On the night of 10th-11th March 1945, Seventy German prisoners tunnelled to freedom from Camp 198 in Bridgend. It was the biggest escape attempt made by German P.O.W.s in Great Britain during the Second World War.

'My Journey' is a short film made by Katja Stiller, Valley and Vale's Film Development Worker. Katja is German and in this film she shares with us her thoughts and feelings about the Holocaust.

Holocaust Memorial Day Performance Blog
Ali and I decided to combine our drama and dance skills to produce a piece for the Holocaust memorial event which was to be held at The Grand Pavilion towards the end of January.
