Singing the Valleys Photo Gallery Part Two
It’s great to sing and even better to sing with other people and there’s nothing quite like looking round a circle of people aged between 80 and 95 singing their hearts out who are quite simply glowing with happiness.

Ysgol Bryn Castell Dance Workshop

Women and Mental Health Conference Blog
Our youth theatre, with Alyson Evans at the helm, had made a piece of Forum Theatre in October 2010 called Pretty Ugly. The drama explored issues of image and self-esteem, as experienced by teenagers in our communities.

Silent Tears
In their film Silent Tears, Katie the main character has problems at home; she is angry and lets her anger out on other people around her, whilst her brother Bob turns his anger inwardly. When Katie talks to the school counsellor she realises the cycle of pain she is caught up in.

Sarah’s Story Exclusive Online Film Premiere
Valley and Vale worked with women from Bridgend Women’s Aid and The Genesis Project during this project. The group of women worked through a process of sharing their experiences and devising dramatic scenes based around their own stories.
