Transition Workshops
As part of our Drama for Emotional Health Project we are currently working in a number of Primary Schools to explore some of the issues and myths surrounding the move from Primary School to Comprehensive School.

‘Growing Together’ Project wins Award
A new project that we have been facilitating over the past few months, working with older people in The Garw Valley, has just won The Val Feld Communication in Housing Award, sponsored by Shelter Cymru.

Women and Mental Health Conference Feedback
Valley and Vale is actively involved in using creativity as an alternative approach to engaging people that may be experiencing mental health or emotional health problems, and also as an effective tool for promoting awareness of mental health issues.

Costume and Textile Society AGM Blog
Valley and Vale were invited to speak at the AGM of the Costume and Textile Society on 9th April 2011 at St.Fagans Museum near Cardiff. We were asked if we could talk about our recent Community Arts project called ‘Top of the Mountain’ based in the village of Betws.
