A Long Way Down Performances

A Long Way Down Performance

We have just finished three perfomances of our touring drama and emotional health project A Long Way Down (adapted from a book by Nick Hornby), and have had great feedback and interest from packed audiences in Bridgend College and Pyle Life Centre.

Audiences have enjoyed strong performances by actors Alyson Evans, Julian Richards, Ian McAndrew and Matthew Picton, and discussions after each performances facilitated by Alison O’Connor and giving young people a supportive space to voice their opinions and share their thoughts about the issues raised in the play.

Due to the excellent response we are hoping to continue this project into the future, so please contact us if you would like to find out more about the project, would like to host a performance at your venue or would be keen for your youth group to see it.

Thank you to our Drama Development Workers Alyson Evans for adapting the book and creating this creative touring project, Alison O’Connor for her open and gentle facilitation, to Nick Hornby for his words, inspiration and support, to the Camelot Foundation for funding us, to BAVO for their support, and to everyone that has been involved in the project.
