We have just begun a new series of workshops with a group of young people in Bridgend and the surrounding areas who are Home Educated. Every Tuesday morning all Home Educated children, young people and their families can attend Tondu Methodist Church for a time to come together, to share their experiences and make friends.
Our Drama and Film Workers Ali Franks, Amy Peckham and Tim Smith are working with the young people to make a film about being Home Educated. They are also facilitating drama games and exercises to build confidence and self-esteem within the group. We are also hoping to include some animation in the finished film as the young people have brought some very imaginative ideas to the table.
