A 2-day hands-on Forest Arts training course that explores ways of using mythology, storytelling and drama in participatory projects in the woods.
It is aimed primarily at Community based Artists, including arts students, who want to learn more about working outdoors with groups, and also for Forest School practitioners who want to learn more about using the creative arts within their work.
The training will be based on our forthcoming book ‘Raven in the Woods’, which documents a number of our forest-based work over the past 3 years.
The training will combine a mixture of practical tasks and creative activities, as well as discussion about the wider principles and methodologies we use in our work. Each participant will also receive a free copy of the book.
The course is facilitated by experienced arts workers Tracy Evans and Lynette Margerison.
