The Betws School ‘Spirit of the Wood’ shoot mostly took place on location at Eco Dysgu in a magical wood. The young people worked well as a team; their roles included director, camera, sound and acting supported by the Valley and Vale facilitators and other professionals.
A particular highlight was the day spent filming the scenes with ‘Gaz’ and a friendly owl while ‘Michaela’ and ‘Lexy’ built an outdoor shelter and taught ‘Dad’ about the skills needed in the woods.
At the end of the film is a short ‘Behind the Scenes’ film about the project.
