Today we had the last session of our Betws Primary School Forest Arts project. It was sad to feel that it would be the last time we would be working with that group. We looked at the bench we had made, had a small campfire and sang songs. We also gave out the wood cookies and talked about each person’s special qualities and achievements in the sessions and each person had a special animal to remember with.
Betws Primary School teacher, Mrs Goldsworthy spoke about how far the children had progressed thanks to the course. Mrs Goldsworthy said that when they asked the kids to write about Forest Arts they wrote loads more than they would usually write. They each have done some written comments for the website and will be sending them in.
