‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ is our new Arts and Crafts project for parents and pre-school children living in Betws and the surrounding areas. The workshops will be running on a Monday morning from 10am to 12pm at Valley and Vale Community Arts in the Sardis Chapel, Betws.
This project is free to attend and will give participants the chance to spend some quality time with their little ones, learning how to do simple fun craft activities with children and have a cup of tea and a chat with other parents.
‘Twinkle, Twinkle’ is part of the Families First programme of activities that is being run throughout Bridgend and beyond.
Families First is an innovation programme that promotes support for families; it sits alongside the support offered by our other flagship programmes: Flying Start; Communities First; and the Integrated Family Support Service.
This programme believes that the best way of supporting children is by working with the whole family. Evidence suggests early support can reduce the likelihood of families developing more complicated and costly needs in the future.
We will be offering a programme of a range of creative activities for children, young people and their families over the next 2 years in the Bridgend Borough.
If you are interested in this project please come along on Monday 12th November or call Valley and Vale on 729246 and ask to speak to Drama & Project Development Worker Ali Franks.
