Hilltop Tales: Stories from a Community
Hilltop Tales is a book about a small community called Betws based on a hilltop in the Garw Valley. The book explores the identity of this community and illustrates what made this particular community strong. Photographs and stories were collected from local people and edited by Kate Kelly (Valley and Vale Community Arts). The book was designed so that it would appeal to children as well as adults.
This publication was created a part of our Top of the Mountain Community Arts project, and was funded by the European Fund for Rural Development and The Welsh Assembly Government through the Rural Development Plan for Wales, supported by Reach Rural Development at Bridgend County Borough Council and The Arts Council of Wales.
